Service Technician

About the Position

As a service technician in our dynamic and forward-thinking company, you will take on the responsibility for a range of important tasks. You will work with the repair, renovation, and servicing of engines and generators, where your keen eye for detail and technical expertise will play a crucial role. Your duties include performing thorough test runs to ensure that each machine operates optimally and efficiently. You will also be responsible for documenting the work you perform, which is an important part of maintaining our high standards and quality.

Additionally, you will conduct engine replacements at our customers' sites as needed. Here, your ability to communicate and understand the customer's needs is of utmost importance, as you will often act as the company's face to the outside world.

About You

Formal Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a background as an industrial mechanic, industrial electrician, or industrial technician, or equivalent mechanical or electrical experience. You are creative and quick-thinking in your approach to solving service issues. Precise problem-solving and safety are important to you. You are structured and independent. A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in field service and workshop work with engines and generators is advantageous. Experience with test runs and documentation of repair processes is also valuable. If you have knowledge of engine replacements at customer sites and fieldwork, this will be seen as a significant asset. Skills in more advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques can also be beneficial for the role.
